Executive Service PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST Department of Disability & Aging Commission on Aging/ Disability Division Nashville, TN Closing Date: 03/31/2026This position is designated as Hybrid (In-Office & Work from Home). This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position. Job Overview: The Program Support Specialist provides essential administrative, operational, and program support for the departments Information & Assistance Program. This role also serves as a key point of contact for constituent inquiries and acts as a liaison to the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability (TCAD). The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years experience providing administrative support, program coordination, or customer/constituent service in a professional setting. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and compassionately with diverse individuals, including older adults, caregivers, and community partners. Experience managing multiple tasks or inquiries at once while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
