The Job at a Glance The AI Platform Engineer designs and governs clean, reusable data and semantic models that enable scalable, reliable AI systems. Partnering with AI and Enterprise Data teams, this role builds AI-serving pipelines and transformation layers on GCP while balancing performance, governance, and long-term platform scalability. To Land This Opportunity * You have strong experience in data modeling, relational design, and structured system architecture * You are proficient in Python and SQL, including experience designing scalable transformation logic * You have experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines * You have experience working with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred) * You have a systems-thinking mindset with attention to governance, abstraction, and architectural clarity * You have experience supporting ML- or AI-driven systems * You have strong communication skills with experience articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * You have experience with enterprise data platforms * You are familiar with infrastructure-as-code or modern DevOps practices About Your Future Team The AI team is a hands on, high impact group dedicated to building AI solutions that get used. The salary range for this role is $99,047.94 to $133,668.86/annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay-for performance company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
