Genesis10 is currently seeking a GenAI Data Scientist for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity. The GenAI Data Scientist supports GenAI initiatives through advanced analytics, model evaluation, and data exploration. This role works with large and complex datasets to inform model behavior, performance, and business impact, partnering closely with engineering and product teams to consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. Responsibilities: Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies Support GenAI model development, evaluation, and performance tuning Design and execute experiments to assess model behavior and outcomes Develop metrics to measure model quality, bias, and business impact Partner with product and engineering teams to inform feature and model decisions Create analytical outputs and visualizations for stakeholders Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Architect challenges Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Requirements: 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education Hands on experience with LLMs and GenAI concepts Python (data analysis, ML libraries) SQL and data manipulation at scale Advanced analytics and BI tools Experience with model evaluation and experimentation Desired skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking Curiosity and hypothesis driven mindset Ability to explain complex findings clearly Collaboration with cross functional teams Ethical and responsible AI awareness Pay range: $70.00 - $79.00 per Hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
