Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group WW Marketing Organization is seeking a Sr. Manager, Alliances Marketing to help drive the development and management of strategic marketing partnerships with key organizations, supporting mutual strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic acumen, exceptional relationship management & communication skills, and expertise in project and budget management. Experience in alliance management and a robust marketing background-spanning both global and local markets-is preferred.

As Sr. Manager, Alliances Marketing, you will help define joint partner marketing strategies, engage with partners to secure incremental funding, align and approve plans, and oversee program execution, budget, and claims management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual partner marketing plans aligned with joint business objectives and marketing strategy, including audience targeting, activation plans, and success metrics.
  • Oversee the global partner marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocations, program execution, activity approvals, and compliance.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on partner marketing programs, maintaining deep knowledge of program requirements, activity claiming processes, and budget structures.
  • Conduct quarterly marketing reviews with partners, analyzing campaign and asset performance while providing strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to foster innovative partner marketing collaborations, reinforcing Lenovo's leadership in the PC market.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional marketing teams (Strategy/Operations, Product Marketing, PR, Events, Creative, GTM, Geo Marketing) to develop and execute partner-funded marketing initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of the MDF (Market Development Funds) program, including budget administration, accruals, claims, and fund reimbursements.
  • Strengthen communication and relationships with alliance partners to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.
  • People Management Responsibilities: Providing knowledge and insights to the team on partner marketing programs, creating programs/procedures to support the overall business strategy
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within the technology industry
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in person in Morrisville, 2 days remote
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong program management with the ability to manage complex, global initiatives in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong expertise in marketing, financial acumen, and budget management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging and effectively influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with global teams and regional leaders to align and activate resources successfully.
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from various stakeholders into cohesive strategies.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and analytical skills
