Role is Hybrid in Seattle, WA

They are looking for someone with 3-5 years experience.

**What You'll Do:**

* Migrate, edit, and format written content for design system foundations, components, and patterns across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and specialized digital reading surfaces.

* Create compelling visual assets, diagrams, and annotated examples to clearly illustrate design system elements and usage guidelines.

* Maintain and continuously update the design system documentation site, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent, and intuitively organized for easy navigation.

* Proactively audit existing documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information, and take the initiative to flag or resolve issues.

* Collaborate closely with senior designers and engineers to ensure that documentation accurately reflects current design standards and implementation practices.

* Support the team in strategically organizing and structuring content to significantly improve the findability and overall usability of the documentation site.

* Contribute actively to the ongoing improvement of documentation templates, standards, and workflows, driving efficiency and quality.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 3-5 years of experience in UX design, visual design, content design, or a closely related field.

* A compelling portfolio or work samples that demonstrate strong visual craft, meticulous attention to detail, and a clear understanding of design principles.

* Proficiency in Figma or similar modern design tools.

* Exceptional written communication skills, with a proven ability to write and edit clear, concise, and effective design documentation.

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

* Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), communications, or equivalent professional experience.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Prior experience working with design systems, component libraries, or structured documentation.

* Familiarity with design token and component-based workflows.

* Experience designing for or documenting across multiple digital surfaces (web, mobile, and/or specialized digital reading devices).

* Comfort working with front-end concepts, including HTML, CSS, or design-to-code workflows.

* Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.

* Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system documentation site or wiki.
