Develop a nuanced understanding of their implications for high-net-worth individuals, with a primary emphasis on income tax planning and its intricate interplay with broader estate and gift planning strategies.
- Expert Advisory & Client Solutions: Serve as a critical resource for Goldman Sachs-Ayco Advisors, providing timely, precise, and authoritative guidance on complex client issues related to income tax compliance and strategic planning. Participate in high-stakes client and advisor teleconferences, effectively articulating intricate tax concepts and proposing innovative, bespoke planning solutions tailored to individual client needs.
- Intellectual Capital & Thought Leadership: Contribute significantly to the firm's intellectual capital by developing and updating premier educational materials, including client-facing "Insight" memos and internally directed Technical Advisory and training memos. Play a key role in creating and potentially leading training seminars and teleconferences, elevating the tax proficiency of our financial advisors and internal teams.
- Collaborative Research & Support: Provide essential research support to Tax Policy & Research peers, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to comprehensive tax analysis and strategic problem-solving across the group.

- Specialized Experience: Bring 2-3 years of progressive, hands-on experience in federal income tax compliance and planning, specifically with high-net-worth individuals, demonstrating a practical understanding of sophisticated tax strategies and their application.
- Exceptional Communication & Advisory Skills: Exhibit superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the confidence and clarity required for effective oral advisory and educational responsibilities in high-stakes environments.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $60000-$100000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end. Benefits
