Summary
Responsible for collecting data from medical research and analyzing it to draw conclusions or make predictions. Also responsible for developing and executing research studies in collaboration with other statisticians and scientists, monitoring clinical trials to ensure the integrity of the results. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Develop statistical analysis plans for clinical trials, observational studies, and other biomedical research projects. -Conduct statistical analyses of data from all types of studies, including those with complex designs or requiring sophisticated statistical techniques; begin to oversee biostatisticians and/or statistical programmers. -Generate reports of study progress, including reports for data and safety monitoring boards, and assist in the design of these reports. -Develop programs and guide efforts to perform robust data manipulation and error detection to ensure data integrity. -Provide statistical guidance for grants and other funding proposals. -Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring statistical programmers and biostatisticians.
