Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support access control, conduct screening at entry points, and document security-related activity using site tools. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with associates and visitors, and help to deter unwanted incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct screening of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries as assigned, including verifying identification and access authorization and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate irregular activity to site leadership according to post orders to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation per policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 or more months of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
