Our team inSpace and Defense Groupis looking for anAssembly & Test (A&T)Engineering Technicianto join them. You will report to the Sr. Operations Coordinator and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered forthis role,here'swhatyou'llneed to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise,demonstratedability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, anddemonstratedability to perform simple addition, subtraction,multiplicationand division.
  • At least 5 years of relevant A&T experience.
  • Accredited technicaldegree preferred

AsanA&T Engineering Technician, you will:

  • Perform development hydraulic test and assembly approximately 40-50% of the time to ensure department requirements and turnaround times are met.
  • Provide engineering support to solve challenging problems on a complex productline andserve as the primary point of contact for any questions or concerns from Assembly & Test personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance to Assembly & Test personnel and serve as an assembly process expert for inquiries from all functions,utilizingstrong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Support Assembly & Test operations by performing product and process improvement projects.
  • Ensure product integrity of all hardware on the product line through failure investigations and escalations whenrequired, using hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide clear production instructions to Assembly & Test personnel tomaintainefficiency including formal Work Instructions and Electronic Historical Record (EHR) entries.
  • Support equipment evaluation and implementation to meet production requirements including assembly fixtures and tools, production flow-line systems, and test equipment.
  • Work directly with engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
  • Periodically workadditionalhours to support program goals and product demandas needed.
