Position Location
This position is located onsite at the Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas.
Job Overview
- Have working knowledge of all applicable procedures in Customer Service.
- Responsible for processing customer MICAPs and Demand Processing requests.
- Assist and coordinates with customers to obtain status on supply transactions.
- Support Degraded Operation responsibilities when system is inoperable.
- Handle priority issues during night shift as applicable per location
- Follow all AF guidance provided in AF/DOD Manuals and PWS.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Manage and maintain supply, repair cycle, and asset management programs in accordance with applicable AFI 23-101, DOD, Air Force, MAJCOM, and local directives.
- Monitor and process requisitions, cancellations, status updates, and shipment tracing using authorized supply systems and reports.
- Maintain and track all Due-In From Maintenance (DIFM), repair cycle, turnaround (TRN), supply point, and depot level requisitions to ensure proper accountability and timely processing.
- Process and monitor priority requests, MICAP requirements, warehouse pulls, and high-priority maintenance support actions within required timeframes.
- Review, analyze, and update supply system records including item record changes, indicative changes, excess exception codes, deletes, and local manufacture requests.
- Manage Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR), Joint Deficiency Reports (JDRS), Product Quality Deficiency Reports, and related documentation, ensuring proper research, suspense tracking, and disposition actions as needed.
- Maintain suspense logs, tracking reports, and required listings to ensure accurate accountability of all assets, shipments, and repair cycle items.
- Perform research and corrective actions for rejected, overdue, delayed, or lost shipments using system reports, stock control pages, and authorized tracking systems.
- Process turn-ins, receipts, issues, substitutions, interchangeable items, and excess property in accordance with governing instructions.
- Maintain and manage supply point assets, inventories, repair cycle listings, warehouse locations, and surveillance reports.
- Conduct required inventories, reconciliations, validations, and semi-annual or quarterly reviews as required by regulation or local policy.
- Provide customer support and technical assistance regarding supply procedures, turn-in requirements, repair cycle status, and stock availability.
- Support degraded operations and manual processing procedures when automated systems are unavailable.
- Prepare, review, and submit required reports including SITREP data, service summaries, CPAR data, emergency management reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain official files, master file plans, appointment letters, and program documentation in accordance with records management requirements.
- Serve in appointed program monitor roles as assigned (examples: DIFM Monitor, TCTO Monitor, Time Change Monitor, Turnaround Manager, Reusable Container Program, Facility Manager, Limited Inspector, UCC/EM, etc.).
- Attend required meetings, briefings, inventories, inspections, and program reviews as directed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental, and hazardous material handling requirements.
- Perform all duties in accordance with contract requirements, Performance Work Statement (PWS), and government regulations.
- Perform all other work-related duties assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist warehouse, storage, issue, and customer service functions as needed to support mission requirements.
- Prepare, review, and distribute supply and warehouse documentation.
- Maintain training records, certifications, and personal training matrix requirements.
- Assist with inventory preparation, warehouse validations, and location accuracy checks.
- Monitor housekeeping, organization, and safety conditions in warehouse and office areas.
- Support lateral support shipments, special requests, and emergency operations.
- Access and utilize required automated data systems and supply programs.
- Perform facility, emergency management, or continuity duties as assigned.
- Provide backup support for other supply sections as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support mission requirements.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Must be able to obtain and hold a NACI Security Clearance.
- Must be available to be "On-Call" if necessary.
- Must be able to work alternate schedules as needed for position location.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required to.
- Must be able to stand for several hours.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years previous experience in a like or similar role as a Stock Clerk/Material Coordinator.
- Team Player, Ability to communicate effectively, works harmoniously with others.
Preferred:
General knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Working Conditions:
- Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- May perform work both indoors and outdoors needed. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and/or carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces, depending on specific work site.
- May be periodically exposed to confined spaces, inclement weather conditions, or other work conditions determined by nature of work.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required.
