What We're Looking For:

A skilled trade professional responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and furnishings within a hospitality environment. This role supports the care and presentation of physical assets while ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to brand standards. The position requires handson craftsmanship, close collaboration with the engineering team, and a servicefocused approach that contributes to welcoming, well maintained spaces and exceptional guest experiences.

What You Will Do:

* Develop and prepare project layouts with limited supervision.
* Estimate dimensions, select appropriate materials, and ensure accurate measurements.
* Construct and repair hotel structures and furnishings using wood, fiberglass, plastic, drywall, and other materials.
* Operate hand and power tools including chisels, saws, drills, sanders, and planes to complete repairs and installations.
* Install, assemble, or repair cabinets, moldings, partitions, doors, windows, and prefabricated structures.
* Replace or repair ceiling tiles, glass panes, furniture, and related fixtures.
* Ensure structural accuracy using levels, framing squares, plumb bobs, and other measuring tools.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free workspace in compliance with hotel safety regulations.
* Participate in training sessions and meetings to remain current on procedures and safety practices.
* Maintain regular and reliable attendance in alignment with company standards and operational needs.
* Safely lift, move, and transport materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as part of recurring job duties.
* Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
* Embrace flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.

Your Experience Includes:

* At least two years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in commercial or hospitality settings.
* A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Familiarity with reading blueprints, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedural documentation.
* Basic proficiency with Windows based software programs preferred.
* A valid Florida State Driver's License.
