JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator of Clinical Affiliations contributes to nurturing the institution's relationships with our community partners. This position also serves as one of the points of contact for various internal (college and university administrators, faculty, staff, program faculty with clinical affiliation responsibilities, students) and external constituents (including clinical education sites).

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a system of tracking mechanisms, processing contracts, and ensuring timely update of affiliation contracts and setting up of affiliation sites using the college systems

  • Establishes and maintains affiliation agreements with clinical partners for the undergraduate and graduate programs

  • Completes Clinical Agency reporting (vaccination reports, etc.)

  • Monitors, communicates, and escalates student clinical requirement compliance (vaccinations, certifications and clinical requirement activities)

  • Manages Clinical Agency Requirements Canvas course in collaboration with Clinical Resource Coordinator

  • Collaborates with clinical partners for EMR and security/badge access requests and processing (submitting student information and photos)

  • Manages clinical rotation requests across the School of Nursing

  • Tracks platform participation (myClinicalExchange), which entails linking student records, maintaining active student accounts

  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with community relations, partnership development/management, or closely related experience

  • Previous experience working in an academic and/or healthcare setting
