Job Description

Overview of the Position:


The Warehouse Lead is fully accountable for coordinating and supervising their designated department. The primary responsibility is ensuring shipments to the customer are made with 100% quality, on time, cost-effectively and efficiently. Additionally, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for scheduling capacity within their department and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures within their team while meeting all designated KPIs for their department.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the J25 report to prepare O-ring shipments.
  • Ensures proper training and guidance to employees in Auto-Pak before their next Ops position at Wencor.
  • Pick O-ring shipments for multi-step shipments.


  • Provide direction and guidance to warehouse personnel on policies and procedures, ensuring zero- tolerance execution of set policy manuals.
  • Assist in determining work schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to warehouse personnel within their department to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Assist in personnel performance reviews; provide direction and guidance to warehouse personnel on training and QMS compliance.
  • Lead order fulfillment activities for timely service delivery and take action to correct problems within designated lead area.
  • Communicate with related departments to maintain effective product flow and effect necessary changes for continuous improvement.
  • Assist Supervisor with responsibilities for closing and opening of facilities as needed, including after-hours AOGs.




Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; expected to gain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project, Lotus Notes, Visio; and other software as applicable.

Requirements

Education / Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent. Preferred 3 -- 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
