The Fabrication Specialist will perform skilled manufacturing functions related to fabricating, wiring, troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing of electrical equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Panel Building
  • Lay out, assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical panels from blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of electrical certifications (UL, CE, CSA, NFPA 508A, etc.)
  • Perform interconnecting wiring on final equipment assembly
  • Troubleshoot and repair refurbished electrical equipment
  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical Degree or Certification OR 3 years equivalent experience in light industrial control panel building
  • Experience reading and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, production drawings and Bills of Material
  • Experience wiring to code

Physical Demands:

  • The work is performed in a shop environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and odors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Other equipment manufacturing skillsets (examples: welding, pipefitting, construction)
  • SAP knowledge
  • PLC experience
  • Good verbal communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work proficiently alone, or with a team, to meet project deadlines
  • Proficiency with electrical and shop hand tools (examples: Multimeter, drills, saws, knockouts, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (examples: Internet, e-mail, Teams, etc.)
  • Good troubleshoot techniques

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $26.80 - $40.20. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
