Associate Product Manager, Data & Internal Systems

About InterPark Holdings

InterPark is the largest privately owned and operated commercial parking asset company in the U.S. We own and operate parking assets in 16 of America's largest cities with two customer-facing brands: iParkit which operates our central business district garages and PreFlight which operates our off-airport facilities.

InterPark was founded in 1997 and is a leader in parking real estate acquisitions, development and best-in-class operating technology.

About the Role

Product management is evolving. The most impactful product managers won't be those who launch new applications-they'll be the ones who deeply understand how data and business processes move through an organization and use that understanding to eliminate friction, reduce manual work, and surface the right information at the right moment.

As Associate Product Manager of Data & Internal Systems, you will partner with Accounting, Operations, and IT to map, challenge, and continuously improve how our internal platforms work-from the moment data enters a system to how it's stored, categorized, and consumed by downstream applications and teams.

You deploy problem-first product thinking. This is not a role that rebuilds systems for the sake of modernization. You will understand root problems to solve and diagnose whether a new purpose-built application is needed or if an entire process needs to be reimagined. You will report directly to the Senior Product Manager of Technology and Platforms.

What You'll Own

  • Investigate process and application pain points with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT before proposing any solution; solutions should solve problems, not replace systems
  • Understand end-to-end process and data lifecycles, from input sources through storage, transformation, categorization, and application output to identify inefficiencies and where ambiguity occur
  • Serve as a consistent, trusted point of contact for Accounting, Operations, Data Analytics and IT on internal system needs, including the ERP and roadmap priorities
  • Work cross-departmentally to understand data flow gaps, identify repetitive or judgment-light internal workflows that are candidates for AI-assisted automation, light-weight applications or intelligent routing
  • Understand InterPark's data framework, any dependencies and their downstream impact and be part of InterPark's AI-integration
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to align on process design and build consensus on change initiatives
  • Be able to write product requirements and work with IT on building internal software applications
  • Define success metrics for initiatives including time saved, improved business analysis, and productivity

Ways of Working

  • You ask "why does this process exist" before asking "how do we automate it"
  • You communicate clearly in writing; requirements, status updates, and decision rationale are crisp and unambiguous
  • You can write a good AI prompt and critically evaluate its output. You can use AI to do set-up technical work - querying data, drafting requirements, exploring a system - without needing a developer in the room
  • You are equally comfortable in a whiteboard session with Operations as you are in a technical discussion with IT
  • You understand that AI outputs are only as good as the data and processes that feed them and default to fixing the upstream problem rather than papering over it with a model

  • You treat internal users with the same rigor and empathy you'd apply to an external customer
  • You are self-starter who can take a loosely defined goal, put structure around it and define project success

Required Qualifications

  • Must submit your application for employment through www.interparkholdings.com to be considered for this position

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in US.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. If working at an off-airport location, you must be 21 years or older based on airport requirements.

  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a background investigation, drug test and reference checks.

  • Must possess vision and hearing faculties sufficient to perform essential functions.

  • Must be willing to work in the Corporate Office 4 to 5 days a week.

  • Must be willing to work the following schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 - 5 years in product management, process improvement, IT, Operations or Accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes and recommend solutions by understanding the business problems beyond what stakeholders requested
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, or process documentation that a technical team has successfully built from
  • Working knowledge of how relational data structures, APIs, and business systems. Be able to hold intelligent conversations with engineers about data flow and system design
  • Comfort with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL basics, BI dashboards) to independently validate assumptions and measure outcomes
  • Background in a data-adjacent field and a desire to understand how internal systems work together is a plus
  • Familiarity with workflow automation concepts and platforms (e.g., iPaaS, RPA, AI-assisted routing) is a meaningful advantage
