Mustang Cat is seeking an MPS Marketing Coordinator to support the promotion, tracking, and coordination of Power Systems equipment inventory.



This role helps ensure all available inventory is accurately represented across company and third-party platforms, supports inventory readiness for sale, and coordinates key activities such as inspections, freight, title management, and marketing support.



This position works closely with Power Systems Sales, Service, Inventory, and Marketing teams to promote equipment effectively, maintain accurate inventory information, and support the successful movement of equipment from acquisition through sale.



What You'll Do as a Power Systems Marketing Coordinator:



  • Perform marketing-related tasks to promote all Power Systems equipment in inventory.
  • Maintain and update the Power Systems website, including adding incoming inventory, marking sold equipment, and ensuring listings are accurate and complete.
  • Manage equipment postings on third-party websites, including PowerSystemsToday and other applicable platforms.
  • Partner with the Marketing team on email blasts, marketing campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Support development and maintenance of the Mustang Power Systems website by working with Marketing on updates, corrections, and improvements.
  • Capture high-quality photos of incoming and existing inventory on Mustang yards; travel between Mustang Cat locations may be required.
  • Record equipment dimensions and weights for all inventory units and maintain accurate supporting details in Smartsheet or other tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with Inventory and the Service Supervisor to ensure inspections are completed for incoming inventory and inspection reports are uploaded appropriately.
  • Coordinate freight for purchased and sold equipment not arranged directly by sales representatives.
  • Manage trailer titles and maintain organized title records for Power Systems inventory.
  • Provide support with quoting, project coordination, and other departmental needs as assigned.
  • Represent Mustang in a professional manner in all internal and external interactions.


What You'll Need to Succeed as a Power Systems Marketing Coordinator:


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Industrial Distribution, Construction Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment specifications and features.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, including phone communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working with heavy equipment, power systems equipment, or industrial products.
  • Experience managing website content, online inventory listings, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar inventory/project tracking tools.
  • Photography experience or the ability to capture high-quality product images for marketing purposes.



Working Conditions / Additional Requirements



  • Travel between Mustang Cat locations may be required.
  • Must be able to work both in an office environment and outdoors in yard/shop environments as needed.
  • May be required to inspect equipment, take measurements, and photograph inventory in varying weather conditions.
