Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.


Your Areas of Responsibility:

As the Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist, you'll serve as a key point of contact for candidates and employees-bringing our culture to life from the very first touchpoint.

You'll manage full-cycle recruiting for all non-exempt positions, support new employees during onboarding, and assist with essential HR operations. This role blends talent acquisition, HR coordination, and people-focused administrative excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)



  • Lead recruiting efforts for intern, temporary, and non-exempt positions - from posting jobs to extending offers.
  • Screen applicants to identify strong matches and provide an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and hiring events with speed and professionalism.
  • Maintain job postings and recruiting dashboards to keep hiring managers informed.



HR Generalist Support



  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared.
  • Manage I 9 verifications and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Accurately enter new hire data into the HRIS and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Process HR-related invoices and support basic HR recordkeeping and administration.
  • Act as the backup for office administrator for providing employee boot and safety glasses vouchers, issuing building and parking lot badges, and other responsibilities as needed.



Learning & Development Assistance



  • Provide administrative support for training sessions, workshops, and course enrollment.
  • Track participation, maintain learning records, and help employees navigate development tools.



Employee Experience & HR Operations



  • Serve as a friendly, approachable resource for day-to-day questions.
  • Look for opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience.
  • Partner with the HR team on projects and initiatives as needed.


Qualifications we are looking for:

The ideal candidate is an agile, resourceful, and resilient HR professional with exceptional problem-solving abilities who is passionate about all aspects of HR. He or she will have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting and/or HR roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A desire to learn and grow within the HR field, including pursuing relevant certifications, is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time (including CA and MX).
