Demonstrate full proficiency in maintenance/mechanical activities to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently. Perform general maintenance, preventative maintenance, over-hauls, modification, fabrication, welding, and/or mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. Work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex and/or new assignments. Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. This individual will be responsible for maintaining all systems and equipment associated with the Ultra Filter system. Must be skilled in industrial maintenance with an understanding and working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and mechanics, understanding pneumatics and be able to maintain and repair plant machinery. Must have a good understanding of basic computer programs. Welding and P.L.C. experience a plus. Applicant must have the ability to mulitask, which may include but not limited to operating, testing, adjusting, and monitoring the system and product for quality and quantity. Will assist the ultra-filter operator when needed. Must be willing to learn the process system in order to trouble shoot and maintain it. Will need to become familiar with the function and maintenance of the valves, piping, tanks, and CIP systems. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
