Maintenance Planner - JLL

What this job involves:

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for safely, efficiently, and effectively planning work orders in accordance with client procedures, compliance requirements, and performance metrics. This role ensures that all maintenance work-preventive, corrective, and project-based-is properly scoped, documented, scheduled, and prepared to support operational reliability and regulatory expectations. The Planner works closely with technical teams, vendors, schedulers, and management to maintain data integrity and ensure a highreliability, auditready environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Plan, prepare, and document work orders to meet all contractual performance metrics and regulatory requirements.

  • Create and update job plans, loadlevel preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure accurate planning for labor, materials, tools, permits, and vendor support.

  • Administer all work order data within CMMS (Maximo preferred), ensuring accuracy before execution.

  • Visit job sites to validate scope, clarify work order details, and collaborate with requestors as needed.

  • Prioritize workload for the maintenance team based on criticality, compliance deadlines, and operational needs.

  • Identify safety hazards during the planning process and incorporate appropriate controls into work orders.

  • Ensure required permits, safety steps, and regulatory documentation are included in planned work.

  • Support compliance with all cGxP, client procedures, and quality expectations related to maintenance planning.

  • Maintain preexecution data integrity for all maintenance activities.

  • Alert management to safety concerns or nonconformances.

  • Work closely with JLL technicians and nonJLL technical support teams to ensure effective execution of all maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with Facilities Manager, Chief Engineers, and Schedulers to ensure all regulatory, safety, and contractual requirements are met.

  • Support development of capital planning inputs for infrastructure upgrades, equipment replacements, and longterm facility improvements.

  • Partner with Operations Manager on special projects reporting and performance metrics.

  • Ensure projects executed at the facility are properly planned, scoped, and aligned with industry best practices.

  • Coordinate material availability, vendor scheduling, and resource planning to maximize efficiency and cost control.

  • Ensure Level 1 equipment maintenance is performed by qualified personnel and executed in compliance with client requirements.

  • Support daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting related to maintenance performance, backlog, compliance, and special projects.

  • Provide forecasting and planning support using PM schedules, job plans, and system data.

  • Ensure all maintenance quality requirements are met for Level 1 classified equipment.

  • Support oncall rotations and work weekends, evenings, or holidays as required.

  • Provide continuous support during site closures except in cases of restricted access due to emergency conditions.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant maintenance, planning, or technical experience.

  • Comprehensive experience with CMMS platforms (Maximo preferred).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project.

  • Knowledge of cGxP procedures and controlled maintenance documentation.

  • Strong understanding of building systems, equipment reliability principles, and maintenance best practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and maintenance libraries.

  • Knowledge of planning methodologies, preventive maintenance strategies, and ReliabilityCentered Maintenance (RCM).

  • Familiarity with FMEA, root cause analysis, and structured problemsolving.

  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality internal and external customer service.

  • Ability to succeed in a fastpaced environment and quickly master new systems or processes.

Location:

Onsite - New Albany, OH.

Work Shift:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm + OT based on business needs.

Salary/ Comp:

$29,23 - $42,40 |$60,800 - $88,200 + OT compensation.
