The Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Auditing is responsible for leading Omni Air International's regulatory compliance programs and internal/external audit activities. This role serves as a key link between Quality Control, Quality Assurance, the CHDO, and external regulatory bodies. The manager oversees compliance documentation, audit execution, vendor oversight, and internal surveillance activities in accordance with SAS, CASS, DoD, IOSA, and FAA requirements. This position functions as both a compliance authority and an auditing lead within the organization.






ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





Duties include but are not limited to the following:




Regulatory Compliance & Administrative Oversight



  • Coordinate completion of SAS Data Collection Tools (DCT) checklists with the CHDO.
  • Oversee maintenance and surveillance coordination for DoD, IOSA, and other audits under guidance of the Director of Quality Control (DQC).
  • Review manual revisions and ensure alignment with SAS documentation; identify, flag, and escalate discrepancies.
  • Execute additional regulatory compliance tasks as directed by the Director of Quality Control.


Audit & Quality Assurance Oversight



  • Support and/or conduct FAA, IOSA, DoD, and other external audits of OAI.
  • Lead or assist in internal audits conducted by the Quality Assurance department.
  • Manage vendor audit processes, including scheduling, correspondence, onsite audits, documentation review, and routing for approval.
  • Conduct internal audits of Omni's Maintenance Department (including line stations) in accordance with OAI CASS.
  • Audit internal personnel documentation (mechanics, flight crew, flight attendants) to ensure compliance with CASS requirements.
  • Audit external maintenance providers to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory standards; prepare deficiency reports and verify corrective actions.


Authorities



  • Full authority to conduct internal audits under OAI CASS.
  • Authority to audit external maintenance providers per OAI CASS.
  • Upon IFQP qualification, authority to conduct IATA IFQP fuel inspections (or operate under supervision until qualification is achieved).
  • If qualified as a C.A.S.E Inspector, conduct C.A.S.E vendor inspections. If not qualified, then must be under the supervision of an C.A.S.E qualified Level III inspector.




QUALIFICATIONS





  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.







EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE





  • 2 years experience auditing organizations that provide support to aviation operators or manufacturing.
  • Experience with organizations holding C.A.S.E. authorizations is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
