Job Summary

The COS Pricing & Contracts Manager leads the Customer Success (Inside Sales) team supporting the Cosmetics, OTC, and Supplements (COS) division. This role is responsible for driving efficient quote generation, managing pricing strategy, and overseeing customer contracts to support revenue growth and operational excellence.

You will oversee accounts generating under $25K annually, ensuring timely quote delivery, strong follow-up, and conversion of opportunities. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Marketing, and IT to ensure competitive pricing, accurate billing, and scalable processes.

This is a highly collaborative role combining people leadership, pricing strategy, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Sales Support

  • Lead and develop the Customer Success (Inside Sales) team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

  • Drive revenue growth across small and mid-tier accounts (<$25K annually)

  • Ensure timely quote generation, proactive follow-up, and opportunity conversion

  • Support lead management and distribution across the team

Pricing & Contract Management

  • Own and maintain standardized pricing across all COS laboratories

  • Develop and manage price lists, customer-specific pricing, quotes, and service contracts

  • Partner with Sales to structure competitive pricing while protecting margin

  • Manage contract lifecycle including execution, documentation, tracking expiration dates, and 90-day renewal notifications

Quote & Process Management

  • Oversee quote production in collaboration with Sales and technical teams

  • Ensure all quotes are accurate, timely, and properly documented

  • Maintain data integrity within Salesforce and internal systems

  • Continuously improve quoting workflows, turnaround times, and automation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate billing aligned with approved pricing

  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Division Leadership on pricing strategy

  • Work with IT and Sales Operations to enhance reporting, systems, and tools

  • Participate in system implementations related to pricing, quoting, and billing

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver regular sales and pricing analytics (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance

  • Drive continuous improvement across pricing, quoting, billing, and sales processes

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer pricing and quote-related inquiries

  • Support special projects in partnership with COS leadership

  • Ensure adherence to company quality, safety, and compliance standards

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, sales operations, customer success, or related field

  • Experience in laboratory services, cosmetics, food, nutraceuticals, or CPG preferred

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) required

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, costing, and quoting processes

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial and sales data

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office

  • Experience with ERP systems and sales analytics tools preferred

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across teams

  • Occasional travel may be required

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
