DCT Accountant Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP and IFRS) and regulations as outlined in the Company's Financial Manual.

  • Prepare journal entries, analyse, and assist with monthly closing processes.
  • Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
  • Support fixed asset administration including project tracking & close-out and physical verification.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and address any audit findings.
  • Support R&D project initiatives with cost tracking and budgeting.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
  • Respond to information requests and assist with audits.
  • Involvement in cross-company initiatives and process improvement changes.
  • Special projects and assignments as needed.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
