Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including power generation and conversion systems, magnetics, and sensors for extreme environments. Located in Milwaukie, OR (in the Greater Portland Area), this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select aircraft and ground vehicle markets, spanning business jet, narrow body, wide body, and fighter jet platforms as well as military ground vehicles. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon, among others.

Customer Account Representative

Position Summary:

The Customer Account Representative works to resolve customer issues. This position partners with OECO's customers to generate product and service orders, while providing expertise in resolving complex customer issues. Ensure compliance with Parker's guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides excellent customer service through communication, problem resolution and quick turn- around.
  • Resolves complex customer issues and maintains knowledge of account information.
  • Ensures customer complaints are resolved effectively, while in compliance with consumer laws, company policy and procedures.
  • Collaborates and works with various departments to meet customer needs and maintains outstanding customer relations.
  • Utilizes appropriate internal systems to organize customer information.
  • Develops improvement plans in response to customer surveys and industry trends.
  • Coordinates with internal departments to resolve and close actions within web database portal, while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion
  • Position requires presence in the office and with regular, consistent and punctual attendance. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide expertise in resolving complex customer issues
  • SAP experience preferred or other comparable ERP experience
  • Thorough understanding of standard customer account concepts, practices and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and ensure accountability to drive results in completion of tasks
  • Able to problem solve issues of a more complex nature, using special knowledge to analyse information and standard practices to make judgments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications and database management tools
  • Salesforce experience is preferred

Education & Experience:

A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma is required. Post-Secondary degree is a plus.

2-4 years of relevant experience, aerospace industry experience is a plus.
