Chancellor's Office Job Description
The Chancellor's Office is seeking qualified applicants for an Event Coordinator position that reports to the Chief of Staff and serves as an extended member of the UMKC Special Events team. Summary of Duties: Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff (with a dotted line to the Executive Director of Special Events and Conference Services), the Chancellor's Office Event Coordinator position provides event and administrative support for the Office of the Chancellor in a wide variety of areas including: event management and support, scheduling, office support functions, and coordination of activities. This position will work collaboratively with both the Chancellors' office team and the university's special events team. Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as starting at $52,917. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
