What to Expect

The successful candidate will have experience in all facets of manufacturing maintenance. Maintenance supervision and leadership experience with supporting sustainable production as well as new model and/or new equipment introductions is required.

This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Maintenance team to the next level. They must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, safety, equipment maintenance, etc. The successful candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.


What You'll Do
  • Lead the maintenance team through ramp up by managing daily workload for Supervisors, Leads, Technicians, and Engineering support, ensuring equipment availability and performance meet KPIs during the new Optimus line launch
  • Develop and elevate team technical capability through structured training, cross training, and certification programs to support new technologies, automation, and equipment introduced with the Optimus line
  • Plan, prioritize, and delegate maintenance activities for both operations and planned downtime, aligning work with ramp up milestones and rovide hands-on coaching to ensure teams meet availability targets such as MTTR and MTBF during scaleup
  • Drive safety and quality readiness for launch by leading safety audits, validating and developing maintenance procedures for new equipment, implementing updated KPIs, and ensuring timely follow-up on all findings
  • Manage workforce planning and coverage for the new line, including day-to-day line support, in-house repairs, training attendance, vacation planning, and OT/weekend scheduling to maintain ramp up continuity
  • Partner closely with Production, Engineering, and cross functional teams to ensure launch readiness, resolve technical issues quickly, align on spare parts strategy, and support line trials, commissioning, and start of production activities
  • Track and report all unplanned downtime and key maintenance events, ensuring rapid RCCA execution on new Optimus line equipment. Provide clear updates during daily meetings to support ramp up visibility and operational decision making

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in supervision and leadership, with troubleshooting and correcting industrial equipment maintenance - breakdowns and failures through Root Cause Analysis and effective Corrective Action implementation
  • Maintenance experience, with robotic and controls knowledge, in high volume manufacturing
  • High technical aptitude and diagnostic problem-solving skills
  • People and Project management experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Open minded, highly flexible, positive attitude
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

    Expected Compensation
    $108,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
