Advanced Practice Provider PRN Hospitalist

Seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist for medical, surgical and ICU patients at Geneva Medical Center. Nurse Practitioners must have ACNP or be willing to obtain to support ICU. This is a day shift position with per diem shifts on weekends and holidays. 1 year APP experience required for PRN opportunity.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Collaborates w/other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family
• Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self
• Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management
• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism
• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
