This role oversees Boys Town's core enterprise field management systems, including:
*ServiceNow - supporting IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Field Service Management (FSM), Strategic and Application Portfolio Management, Agile delivery, Security Operations (Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response), workflow automation and integrations, AI enabled search, and platform governance
*Genetec Security - supporting physical security operations including access control, video surveillance, and related security monitoring systems
*Other Enterprise Field Services Management systems - supporting physical security, facilities, food services, emergency notification, and other field based operational applications
The Manager ensures effective day to day operations, integration, governance, and continuous improvement across these critical systems.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities to ensure a stable and functioning Enterprise Field Management system environment.
  • Manages all work types across the team to balance team priorities and workloads to ensure timely implementation, effective resource utilization, and alignment with Enterprise strategic and operational priorities.
  • Manages timely execution of ITIL processes (Incident, requests, change and related).
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and processes to support and facilitate transparency, engagement, collaboration, and innovation in system design and maintenance.
  • Participates in, and fosters adoption of, IT governance processes, compliance and change control.
  • Collaborates with counterparts in IT, various departments, and third-party vendor resources to implement and maintain application solutions, ensuring integration into Boys Town's EFS tools.
  • Manages project personnel and vendor resources based on assigned duties, and scope of authority, to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Prepares application status reports, communicates status/issues to constituents, and suggests modifications of schedules as required, while ensuring changes fit within overall program plan.
  • Develops and maintains application documentation and ensures centralized storage and indexing of documentation.
  • Supports the creation of software system end-user documentation.
  • Participates in interviews, selection, onboarding, and development of employees. Reviews staff performance, including providing feedback for performance evaluations, making training recommendations, etc.
  • Works collaboratively with the Physical Security, Facilities, Information Security, Governance Risk and Compliance, Research, and Food Services teams to ensure the EFS team is meeting organization goals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to share knowledge efficiently, completely, and patiently. This includes communicating effectively with technical personnel, and non-technical users, using written, audio, and visual forms of communication.
  • Ability to provide excellent creative problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and critical thinking skills, as well as, to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, software packages, and processes.
  • Has knowledge of project management techniques, systems design, and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and networks and how they influence the performance and management of owned systems.
  • Ability to respond quickly and calmly to emergencies and stressful situations, while maintaining control, tolerating stress while dealing with multiple requests, interruptions, and conflicting demands from multiple customers.
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage people and complex information systems projects.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and to manage operational aspects of ongoing projects.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field required or equivalent on the job training required.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in software operations, or information technology required.
  • Minimum of two years of leadership experience required.
  • Understanding of, and experience with, the application lifecycle and work management methodologies required.
  • On-call work to provide additional support and/or may require work to be performed outside of traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Project management experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
