Maintenance Planner / Reliability Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner / Reliability Coordinator to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities while driving reliability improvements to reduce downtime and optimize asset performance.

Key Responsibilities



  • Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work
  • Develop detailed job plans including labor, materials, and safety requirements
  • Manage maintenance backlog and improve schedule compliance
  • Analyze equipment failures and support root cause investigations
  • Improve PM programs using reliability and predictive maintenance data
  • Track reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE)
  • Maintain accurate CMMS data and equipment records
  • Implement and support reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
  • Develop and refine Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs based on failure history and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance data (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound) to optimize maintenance intervals.
  • Analyze equipment failures and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.
  • Identify bad actors and chronic equipment issues and develop corrective action plans.


Qualifications



  • 3+ years of maintenance planning or reliability experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience with CMMS (SAP, Maximo, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • CMRP or reliability certification preferred
