Note: This is a hybrid-remote role based out of our Brooklyn, OH office, with employees expected to work onsite 3 designated in-office days each week.

The Senior HR Business Partner Provides HR consultation and guidance to assigned business units. Acts as employee champion and change agent. Implements HR strategy in support of business unit and corporate strategies. Acts as point person for providing human resources programs and services. Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:



  • Consults with leaders at every level to align human capital strategies and tactics with business strategies.
  • Completes needs assessments related to staffing; employee and leader performance management; and professional development.
  • Develops and implements workforce plans.
  • Performs interventions to advance leadership and organizational development.
  • Interprets policy and procedure.
  • Supports leaders with execution of performance management including corrective action.
  • Collaborates with HR centers of excellence to deliver successful HR solutions that support business goals.
  • Makes recommendations for continuous improvement of HR services.
  • Facilitates timely and accurate employee information changes and recordkeeping.
  • Performs other duties assigned.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 5 years' experience as a Human Resources Business Partner/Generalist or equivalent professional human resources experience


Professional Certification(s):



  • Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR) or specialized training preferred


Technical Skills and Knowledge:



  • Strong knowledge of Employment law and regulations, organizational design and workforce planning and human resources best practices and procedures.
  • Strong Business literacy skills.
  • Strong research, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Intermediate MS Office and HRIS skills
