Overview

Walbridge Aldinger LLC is hiring a Project Coordinator in Detroit, MI.



Responsibilities

This position qualifies for an employee referral monetary incentive under our standard employee referral program.

Job duties: Analyze conceptual designs during the proposal phase to evaluate feasibility, constructability, and potential risks, develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera and MS Project, ensuring alignment with project milestones, prepare Value Engineering evaluations to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to collect, organize, and present questions to the client during the design phase, lead subcontractor scope clarification and buy-out meetings to ensure clear project requirements, participate in design meetings with clients, owners, and design professionals to address project objectives and resolve issues, manage the resolution of design issues using Bluebeam software, ensuring effective implementation of solutions in the field, develop and monitor a Design Compliance Plan as part of the Job Site Quality Program to ensure adherence to project specifications, coordinate the submission and resolution of Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify Basis of Design documents, establish validation criteria for facility launch to ensure operational readiness, monitor open issues during the design phase and facilitate their resolution through collaboration with stakeholders, coordinate site plan approval processes in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

Required Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Engineering, or Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
