Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst, Firm Human Resources.

The Senior Analyst, Firm Human Resources, will provide advanced analytical, strategic and operational support to the Firm HR team, driving the development and execution of global human resources strategies, processes and initiatives across the firm. The Senior Analyst partners with HR management in planning projects and processes from concept through final implementation and serves as a lead and subject matter expert for one or more of these initiatives. The Senior Analyst is expected to apply advanced knowledge of HR policies, processes and systems to analyze issues, develop solutions, and assist with strategic initiatives, projects and programs involving multiple constituents across the firm. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Director of Firm Human resources, as well as the broader Firm HR team and other HR colleagues, to advance HR initiatives that align with the firm's strategic goals and ensure the ongoing success of our people operations and processes for all firm populations. This role requires a hands-on approach to execution, including direct involvement in data preparation, reporting, communications, and process administration.

This position will reside in our Philadelphia and offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Analytics and Reporting

  • Collect, analyze and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision making.

  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, models and reporting tools to support evaluation, compensation and talent processes.

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Conduct analysis and uses analytical skills to identify root cause and recommend practical solutions.

  • Present analytical findings and summarize conclusions, recommending appropriate courses of action.

  • Monitor trends and developments across assigned HR areas and proactively identify emerging risks or opportunities.

HR Initiatives and Process Execution

  • Coordinate and project manage, in partnership with the Firm HR team, the firm's annual processes (promotion, evaluation, compensation, etc.), which may include administrative aspects.

  • Drive the planning, execution and tracking of Firm HR initiatives and special projects from concept through implementation

  • Collaborate with HRBPs, Centers of Excellence and cross-functional stakeholders to implement HR best practices and improve process.

  • Coordinate and supports complex Firm HR processes and procedures, ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency.

  • Prepare user documentation and training materials as required.

  • Drafts communications as needed.

  • Lead or participate in department and firmwide meetings as appropriate.

  • Manage sensitive departures and transitions for senior lawyer talent with discretion and confidentiality.

Operational Support

  • Execute both strategic and detailed operational work required to successfully support.

  • Firm HR initiatives, including data preparation, report production and process

  • administration.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A., B.S.) from four-year college or university, and minimum 5 years of experience in an HR, analytics, or related role.

  • Experience in a professional services or law firm environment is a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation.

  • Experience with FileSite/WorkSite or other document management system.

  • Workday, viDesktop is a plus.

  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Willingness to engage in detailed, hands-on work while maintaining a strategic perspective.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with all levels of management and staff.

  • Strong project management and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
