Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Our Clinical Pharmacy team is looking for a Neuro-Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team!

Role Overview:

As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) at Memorial Sloan Kettering, you will play a critical role in our mission to conquer cancer. You will work alongside clinicians who are internally and nationally recognized as leaders in multiple fields. The Pharmacy Department utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, where the emphasis is on therapeutic efficacy and safety. We provide comprehensive, clinical and dispensing services through a decentralized pharmacy services model.

We are looking for a confident, independent individual to join our Neuro-Oncology team. In the CPS role, you will serve in a fully clinical capacity as an integral member of the inpatient neuro-oncology service at our main campus, providing advanced clinical pharmacy services, including:

• Drug therapy design and monitoring, patient medication counseling, and participation in Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM) initiatives

• Committee participation and developing treatment guidelines and pharmacy policies

• Precepting PGY2 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students

• Delivering staff education including Grand Rounds and in-service training

Key Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Pharmacy; Oncology experience preferred

• NYS license (or eligibility)

• Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency and an ASHP-accredited oncology residency, or equivalent experience are required.

Additional Information:

• Regular hours of work fall between Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

• Flexibility may be required depending upon the needs of the department

• Located at 1275 York Avenue

• Reporting into: Manager, Oncology Clinical Pharmacy
