Overview: The Manager, Employee Experience & Early Talent plays a key role in shaping the employee journey at Inovalon-from a new hire's first day through ongoing engagement and culture-building experiences. This role is responsible for designing and leading programs that strengthen onboarding, build community, and foster a connected, high-performing culture across the organization.

The role oversees key employee experience initiatives including new hire orientation, internship and early career programs, employee engagement initiatives, ERG strategy, and company-wide culture programs. Working closely with People Business Partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that programs are thoughtfully designed, well-executed, and aligned with organizational priorities.

This position requires someone who is both strategic and highly operational, capable of building scalable programs while also executing high-quality experiences that strengthen engagement and connection across a distributed workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design and evolution of Inovalon's new hire orientation and onboarding strategy, ensuring new employees feel welcomed, connected, and equipped for success.
  • Manage and continuously improve the internship and early career programs, helping build a strong pipeline of emerging talent for the organization.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and leaders to support early talent pipeline development, including partnerships, program design, and talent engagement initiatives.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of employee engagement initiatives and company-wide events, creating meaningful experiences that strengthen connection, recognition, and culture.
  • Provide strategic oversight for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), supporting ERG leaders and ensuring programs align with the organization's culture and inclusion priorities.
  • Design and implement culture-building initiatives that strengthen community and connection across a distributed workforce.
  • Manage and develop a direct report, providing coaching, guidance, and development support to ensure strong program execution and team effectiveness.
  • Partner across the People team to ensure employee experience initiatives align with talent management, leadership development, and organizational priorities.
  • Lead the planning and execution of key employee experience programs and events, ensuring proactive communication, thoughtful design, and effective delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience through data, feedback, and engagement insights, continuously refining programs to increase impact.
  • Stay informed on employee engagement, early talent, and culture trends, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the organization.


Job Requirements:



  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in employee experience, culture programs, talent development, HR programs, or related roles.
  • Experience designing and managing employee engagement, onboarding, or early career programs.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders and People Business Partners to design impactful employee programs.
  • Experience supporting or leading Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) or inclusion initiatives preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale employee programs or events.
  • Ability to translate employee feedback and engagement insights into practical program improvements.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field preferred, or comparable professional experience.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:



  • Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods);
  • Frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include up to 10%.
