POSITION SUMMARY



The Director of AI Enterprise Transformation drives enterprise-wide technology evolution at Constellis, aligning modernization efforts with operational excellence, contract compliance, AI-driven innovation, and mission readiness in complex global and government environments. The Director leads the AI strategy, overseeing the research, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions to drive business value and innovation. This position oversees the strategic integration of AI, analytics, automation, and secure business systems to improve performance, ensure scalability, and strengthen the Company's position as a trusted security and risk management partner.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Strategic Digital Leadership: Develop and execute a secure, multi-year digital transformation roadmap aligned with organizational strategy, federal compliance, and business growth objectives.
  • AI Strategy & Vision: Define and maintain a multi-year AI roadmap, aligning initiatives with company-wide product and business goals.
  • AI and Advanced Analytics: Lead the identification, design, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions-such as intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and workforce optimization tools-to enhance operational insight, reporting, and decision-making.


  • AI Talent and Capability Building: Recruit, mentor, and upskill internal teams on AI technologies, while partnering with external experts to build a robust AI talent pipeline and promote a culture of continuous AI learning.
  • AI Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine AI models and tools through monitoring, retraining, and A/B testing to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and ROI in areas like anomaly detection and decision support systems.
  • Business Systems Management: Oversee modernization and integration of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, and mission support platforms) to support program execution, supply chain operations, and workforce readiness.
  • Data Integrity and Compliance: Champion data governance, ensuring compliance with federal data protection standards while enabling analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Cyber and Digital Risk Alignment: Partner with IT Security to ensure all transformational initiatives meet cybersecurity, CMMC, and FedRAMP standards.
  • Change Management and Culture Shift: Drive digital adoption by building awareness, training, and process alignment across global operations; serve as the change leader embedding digital fluency and accountability across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Operations, HR, Finance, and Program Management to align system design and AI capabilities with operational demands in high-consequence environments.
  • Vendor and Partner Oversight: Manage external digital and system vendors, ensuring strategic alignment, contractual compliance, and value optimization.
  • Performance and Reporting: Establish and monitor KPIs for digital transformation outcomes, including cost reduction, system reliability, automation impact, and mission enablement.



QUALIFICATIONS




  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital transformation, business systems integration, or enterprise technology leadership within government contracting, defense, or security operations.
  • Proven success implementing AI, RPA, and data analytics initiatives in secure, compliance-driven environments.
  • Deep understanding of ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems supporting domestic and global operations.
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory standards (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, ITAR, FISMA).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and program management skills to influence technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA or Master's in Technology Leadership preferred.



TECHNICAL SKILLS



  1. Core Architecture and Systems Skills



  • Enterprise architecture (TOGAF-style thinking, reference architectures, integration patterns).
  • Strong hands-on understanding of ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
  • Systems integration (APIs, middleware, ESB/iPaaS, data pipelines between operational, finance, HR, and mission systems).
  • Workflow and BPM tools (designing and optimizing digital processes, case management, tickets, approvals).
  • Data, Analytics, and AI
  • Data architecture and data modeling for enterprise reporting and dashboards.
  • Business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, embedded analytics in ERP/CRM).
  • Practical AI/ML literacy: supervised/unsupervised learning basics, predictive models, anomaly detection, NLP use cases.
  • Generative AI use cases for the enterprise (document drafting, knowledge search, code assistants, chatbots) and associated risks.
  • Data governance concepts (data quality, master data, lineage, stewardship) and familiarity with privacy and retention requirements.




  1. Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure



  • Cloud platforms (at least conceptual proficiency with Azure/AWS/GovCloud, SaaS vs PaaS vs IaaS, cloud-native services).
  • Zero-trust and secure-by-design principles; understanding of identity and access management, SSO, MFA.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-53/171-aligned control environments and how they impact system design and vendor selection.
  • Network and infrastructure basics (segmentation, VPNs, SD-WAN, monitoring) sufficient to challenge technical teams and vendors.




  1. Automation and Digital Tools



  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow automation (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) for back-office and contract support.
  • Low-code/no-code platforms and citizen-development governance.
  • Document and content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, contract repositories, digital forms and e-signature tools).




  1. Project, Delivery, and Governance Methods



  • Portfolio and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet) to oversee multi-stream digital programs.
  • Agile and hybrid delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe concepts) and how to blend them with government/PMO governance.
  • Technical risk management and dependency mapping across systems and contracts.




  1. Government / Contracting-Specific Technical Knowledge



  • Understanding of how labor categories, direct/indirect cost structures, and billing rules influence system and data design.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and CLIN/TO/IDIQ structures and their data/reporting needs.
  • Awareness of export controls, ITAR/EAR, and how they constrain data location and system access.
