Overview

The Associate Director, Omni Channel Strategy Lead, Myeloproliferative Neoplasm (MPN) translates marketplace insights into a comprehensive, effective, and measurable omni channel engagement plan that delivers on key business objectives. The Associate Director develops and leads the end-to-end HCP strategy and tactical execution of all Omni Channel related initiatives for the MPN business unit. As the omni channel lead, this role will serve as the brand team ambassador to internal and external stakeholders and be seen as the leader in the media, non-personal and personal promotion execution and measurement. This role will report to the Senior Director, MPN HCP Marketing Lead.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

  • As a key HCP strategy leader, maintains strong understanding of HCP customer behaviors, patient and HCP journey, geographic dynamics, competitors and strategic opportunities within the MPN therapeutic area
  • Supports HCP and Brand Lead in HCP strategy creation
  • Designs and executes a strategy-informed omni channel tactical plan that effectively delivers on brand strategic imperatives and business objectives
  • This role's tactical remit will also include non-personal and personal promotion resources utilized by the MPN sales force
  • Owns and reports out on omni channel measurement plan with clear, time-based KPIs that illustrate channel and tactical effectiveness
  • Continuously improves execution of the omnichannel promotional plan based on marketplace dynamics, performance, and cutting-edge incremental tactics
  • Serve as the go-to point of contact on the MPN marketing team for omni channel and media performance
  • Liaises with internal stakeholders for ensuring success of all omni channel related activities including the internal media team, internal website content teams, business analytics, sales, market access, medical, legal, regulatory
  • Manages agencies and vendors to develop and implement promotional programs and materials
  • Brings select personal promotion and omni channel related tactics through promotional review process
  • Enhances the MPN High Performance Team culture with a customer centric, collaborative, solution oriented, and ownership-driven approach
  • Manages and optimizes MPN budget for omni channel line items and overall brand promotional spend
  • Willingness to take on and execute cross marketing strategic initiatives

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Highly proficient in pharmaceutical HCP and omnichannel marketing
  • 7+ years' work experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology product channel marketing
  • Work experience in hematology/oncology
  • Proven track record of working with external agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis
  • Experienced in managing promotional budget phasing, invoicing, and reconciliation
  • Strong project management acumen and ability to manage complex work streams and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Deep understanding of data privacy, compliance requirements, pharmaceutical promotion regulations and best practices
  • The team member in this role is expected to mentor Incyte team members, lead without authority, coachability, and provide/receive feedback
  • Comfortability in presenting and interacting with executive and C-suite level stakeholders
