TEKsystems is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers through inbound and outbound communication. In this role, you will handle customer inquiries related to orders, provide status updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a positive customer experience. You will also support internal teams by assisting with administrative tasks, contracts, invoices, and special projects. This is an onsite position in Madison, WI. Responsibilities * Handle inbound customer calls related to order status, updates, and issue resolution * Make outbound follow-up calls and send emails to customers as needed * Troubleshoot customer concerns and provide timely, accurate solutions * Document interactions and updates clearly and accurately * Assist the sales team with processing contracts, invoices, quotes, and related projects * Manage a high call volume, averaging 40-50 calls per day * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met Required Qualifications * 1+ year of customer service experience (retail, restaurant, hospitality, or property management experience accepted) * Strong empathy and customer-first mindset with the ability to take action and solve problems * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Ability to remain professional and calm when handling challenging situations Preferred Qualifications * Previous office or administrative experience * Experience using CRM or customer support systems * Comfort handling escalated or difficult customer interactions Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
