As a Security Officer Campus Patrol Driver in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to routine concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site procedures, and/or assist with visitor and staff inquiries in a professional manner.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and/or following post orders and assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
