Responsibilities
AVP Business Development (Denver/ Las Vegas/ Reno/ Phoenix) SUMMARY The AVP, Business Development is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives across KGPCo's Broadband portfolio, with a focus on Active Electronics solutions. This role drives revenue growth, develops key customer relationships, and positions KGPCo as a preferred partner across Tier 2 and Tier 3 service providers. The position partners cross-functionally to align technical solutions with customer needs, delivering measurable business outcomes and long-term value. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead KGPCo's Broadband business development strategy and Active Electronics partner initiatives across Tier 2, Tier 3, and other Communications Service Provider accounts.
- Own strategy development, relationship management, and revenue growth for assigned accounts and market segments.
- Identify new business opportunities and provide strategic input across KGPCo commercial, technical, and operational teams.
- Work closely with customer buying groups and executive leadership to understand business objectives, address needs, and help shape new requirements.
- Develop and execute account engagement strategies for new and existing customers in close collaboration with Sales and crossfunctional teams.
- Position KGPCo as the preferred solutions partner through consultative selling, technical expertise, and valuebased proposals.
- Lead or support complex sales initiatives, including development of business cases, technical requirements analysis, costbenefit evaluations, and financial payback models.
- Prepare and deliver professional customerfacing materials including executive presentations, RFP responses, and proposal documentation.
- Conduct executivelevel and boardroom presentations to customer stakeholders.
- Provide regular internal reporting on pipeline, opportunity status, customer engagement, and market trends.
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Active Electronics technologies, including:
- PON / Access Networks
- Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)
- IP Networking
- DWDM Optical Transport
SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGPCo Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
- Participate in job site safety and hazard analysis.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and drive long-term partnerships.
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial drivers, including ROI analysis and business case development.
- Proven ability to operate independently while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in complex, matrixed environments.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative leader who fosters teamwork and a positive, results-driven environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in Business Development and selling to Broadband Providers and Service Operators.
- 10-15+ years of experience in midmarket or operatorfocused business development and sales.
- Strong technical background in Active Electronics hardware and software solutions.
- Established relationships with decisionmakers within Tier 2 and Tier 3 Broadband and Service Provider organizations.
- Demonstrated success in complex, technologydriven solution sales and contract negotiations.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess profitability and financial impact of proposed initiatives.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short communications, and memos; draft simple written correspondence; and effectively communicate in one-on-one or small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Capable of performing calculations involving American currency and standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
- The ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law. Pay Range in the United States: $130,000 - $150,000/year based upon geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance.
