City/State: Bronx, New York Department: Office Of The VP HR EMP Lab REL Work Days: Scheduled Hours: Scheduled Daily Hours: Job Summary This position provides labor/employee relations guidance and advice to management, union, and non-union associates in the interpretation of union contracts and MMC policies to ensure compliance and favorable working conditions between management personnel and union/non-union associates to avoid grievances and litigation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred Associates degree required 5 years of experience required in HR within a union environment required - strong preference in Labor & Employee Relations. Knowledge of Federal, State and City las (e.g. FMLA, ADA, ESSTA, PFL,NRC guidelines) Knowledgeable on conducting investigations Knowledge of unions and CBA's Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
