Intune Engineer (Hybrid Contract) Overview We are seeking an Intune Engineer to support and enhance endpoint management initiatives within a growing IT environment. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-3 days per week on-site in Oshkosh, WI, with the remainder remote. This engagement is currently approved through June, with strong expectations and active budget discussions to extend the role an additional year. Overall, this is anticipated to be a long-term contract (15+ months) with the potential to continue beyond that timeframe. Key Responsibilities * Design, configure, and support Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device and application management * Manage and optimize Windows device enrollment, compliance policies, and configuration profiles * Support Autopilot setup and device lifecycle management * Partner with internal teams and external Microsoft consultancies on Intune architecture and best practices * Assist with security baselines, conditional access alignment, and policy enforcement * Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal team members to build Intune expertise * Troubleshoot device, policy, and application deployment issues * Document standards, processes, and architectural decisions Required Skills * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune * Strong understanding of modern endpoint management concepts * Experience supporting Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment Preferred Qualifications * Experience collaborating with Microsoft consultancies on Intune architecture or strategy * Ability and interest in mentoring or training team members on Intune and endpoint management best practices * Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and security/compliance concepts Experience Level * Intermediate level Why This Role * Hybrid work model with on-site flexibility * Opportunity to work on long-term Intune initiatives, not short-term fixes * High likelihood of contract extension beyond the initial term * Chance to influence architecture, standards, and team capability building Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
