Job Summary:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Physician and Clinical Professional Recruitment Department. This division plays a critical role in recruiting top physician and advanced practice provider (APP) talent to meet the health system's strategic needs. In this hybrid part-time role, you will gain hands-on experience and valuable insight into healthcare recruitment and provider development while contributing to key departmental functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the recruitment team in sourcing, screening, and hiring healthcare providers
  • Post job openings on various online platforms and maintain accurate listings
  • Identify potential candidates through proactive online sourcing strategies
  • Manage departmental invoices and inventory organization
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist on recruitment marketing projects and campaigns
  • Shadow Physician and Clinical Recruitment as well as Business Development team members for cross-functional learning
  • Coordinate logistics for recruitment events, conferences, and other department functions
  • Create and manage engaging content for the department's LinkedIn page and other communication channels
  • Participate in on-site events and functions as required

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset
  • Reliable transportation for on-site events and meetings
