Part-Time Lecturer of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering seeks candidates for part-time faculty teaching positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the following areas: computer engineering; computer/communication networks; linear systems; linear algebra and matrices; probability; random processes; and RF design. We are interested in exceptional candidates at all levels.

Applicants must have a Master's or higher degree in electrical engineering, although a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree and/or commensurate industry-related experience is preferred. A strong, well-documented teaching record is highly desirable.

This is a part-time appointment effective Fall 2026, starting August 16, 2026. Applicants must submit a letter stating their interest in a part-time teaching faculty position, and should include a description of their background, area(s) of specialization, and teaching experience, a detailed curriculum vitae, and the names of at least two professional references. Applications will be considered starting immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. Applications should be submitted by July 28, 2026. Applications received after this deadline may not be considered.

The core salary range for this position is $3,861.77 - $ 4,293.08 per unit. This is a part-time position.
