Part-Time Lecturer of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering seeks candidates for part-time faculty teaching positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the following areas: computer engineering; computer/communication networks; linear systems; linear algebra and matrices; probability; random processes; and RF design. We are interested in exceptional candidates at all levels.

Applicants must have a Master's or higher degree in electrical engineering, although a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree and/or commensurate industry-related experience is preferred. A strong, well-documented teaching record is highly desirable.

This is a part-time appointment effective Fall 2026, starting August 16, 2026. Applicants must submit a letter stating their interest in a part-time teaching faculty position, and should include a description of their background, area(s) of specialization, and teaching experience, a detailed curriculum vitae, and the names of at least two professional references. The core salary range for this position is $3,861.77 - $ 4,293.08 per unit. This is a part-time position.
