Location Chesapeake, VA - Chesapeake, VA 23320 US (Primary) Category Information Technology Job Description Our team, in Chesapeake, VA has an immediate need for a Quality Control Technician. This position will be responsible for conducting Quality Control inspections of MSC shipboard computer network systems during the build, deployment, and sustainment phases of their lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include: * Conduct inspections of servers being built by StratasCorp technicians * Conduct inspections during and after shipboard installations conducted by StratasCorp technicians * Conduct inspections during and after sustainment visits conducted by StratasCorp technicians * Report inspection findings to the Quality Assurance (QA lead) * Provide input to QA processes and QC inspection checklists * Work effectively across the organization and with external stakeholders to develop and support new and existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, meetings, and tools to facilitate and enhance information sharing between groups * Remote/Hybrid opportunities available Secret clearance required.
