Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity within assigned areas, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and/or other site-specific protocols.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and policy-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, following post orders and healthcare location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
