As a Security Officer Identity Verification Driver in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth daily operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in job state. Through visible presence, strong communication, and a people-first approach, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering reliable service with integrity and teamwork.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Monitor gates, badge activity, and vehicle traffic, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
