The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring immediately for a part-time Senior Systems Engineer.


Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide SME-level technical and programmatic support to the TRIDENT II Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) Development Program within Missile Branch, Strategic Systems Programs. The Engineer will support headquarters level requirements development and design. This is a part-time position, less than 30 hrs per week.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in STEM.
  • 10+ years experience with TRIDENT II Missile and Reentry Body programs.
  • 20+ years professional experience with defense programs.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Strategic Systems Programs.
