POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The incumbent lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains electrical systems and related equipment for assigned projects. S/he manages field labor crews with varying levels of experience and executes production, safety, and quality goals. Base hourly rate of $40/hr - $45/hr KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keeps records of assignments and produces detailed work reports.
- Directs workers engaged in electrical systems and components.
- Facilitates knowledge transfer and teaches trade skills to less experienced tradespeople.
- Loads and unloads trucks of material to be staged and installed throughout the job site.
- Inspects and ensures the availability of all tools and materials needed to complete a given project.
- Directs the work of labor engaged in cutting, pre-assembly, and installation of HVAC components, and the building on, or modification of, existing systems.
- Review blueprints and specifications to determine work sequence and effective, safe procedures.
- Studies building plans and inspects structures to assess material and equipment needs, establish the sequence of installations, and plan installations around obstructions such as wiring, etc.
- Completes all AHAs and daily huddles, and pre-plan work to ensure safety, productivity, and quality.
- Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify the cause of errors, safety hazards, or other issues, and solutions or escalates them appropriately.
- Plans and installs wiring for pump motors, air handling systems, compressors, HVAC systems, chillers, generators, appliances, and other machinery.
- Installs conduit systems for power distribution, branch circuits, lighting, and other electrical systems.
- Plans and installs lighting systems and/or individual fixtures throughout given projects.
- Pulls all home run wires that run inside/outside slabs with pullers or coordinates for manual pulling.
- Tests circuit for compatibility, integrity, and isolation of current as needed.
- Checks delivered fabricated equipment for QA/QC accuracy.
- Uses hand tools to make any alterations for installed equipment to ensure per-spec installation.
- Hangs thread to steel supports from ceiling joists or concrete slabs to support electrical trays.
- Installs terminates, and bends all different types of conduit and gauge of wires.
- Completes as-built drawings for all completed work and all remodels as required by contract.
- Fabricates or alters parts at construction sites as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position operates primarily in the field, working on new and remodeling projects, often at great heights and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Jobsite work is likely to entail varying exposure to potentially harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, dangerous machinery, and/or other conditions typically associated with a live construction site.
- Depending on the work location, the incumbent may be exposed to extreme temperatures, inclement weather, noise, poor ventilation/lighting, and other hazards or conditions typically associated with a construction job site.

TRAVEL:
- This position may be required to travel between jobs on a periodic basis as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10 years of electrical contracting experience.
- Must be construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and Google products.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.
- Capacity to leverage leadership skills to facilitate learning, teamwork, and collaborative relationships.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed OSHA 30-Hour Training.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
