Description The ideal candidate will own two critical functions that directly unblock algorithm engineers: executing small-scale engineering data collections and delivering fast data validation feedback. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role. The ideal candidate will receive a data specification, figure out how to execute it, go collect the data, validate it, and tell the algorithm team what they got - the same day. Beyond their own collections, the ideal candidate will also validate data coming from large-scale collection efforts, assessing whether what was delivered matches what was specified. The ideal candidate will use AI agents to translate specs into capture protocols and validation code. They will hit roadblocks constantly - venues, hardware, ambiguous specs, tools that don't quite work - and will find a way through them.
