You Are:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with solid experience in test automation, functional testing, and end-to-end quality strategies. This role will be the team's quality lead, responsible for defining testing standards, implementing automation frameworks, and ensuring the stability and reliability of the software in every release.

The opportunity:

* Design and implement end-to-end (E2E) test automation frameworks for functional, integration, and unit tests.

* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and Cucumber (BDD).

* Define and document testing strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria with the product team. Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests on APIs and UI.

* Actively collaborate with backend and frontend developers to identify and prevent defects in early stages.

* Review requirements and user stories to detect ambiguities and quality risks before development. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.

* Document test cases, defect reports, and execution results clearly and traceably. Manage and prioritize the defect backlog, ensuring its tracking and timely resolution.

* Provide quality metrics (coverage, defect rate, stability) for decision-making. Mentor junior QAs and promote a culture of Quality within the development team Research and adopt new testing tools and methodologies that improve team efficiency



This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

* Automation: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD / Gherkin) Test Types: E2E, functional, integration, regression, unit, smoke testing Languages: JavaScript / TypeScript or Java for test scripting API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools CI/CD: Integration of test suites into pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Version Control: Git, GitHub (branching strategies, PR reviews) Defect Management: Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools Frontend Testing: Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools (desirable) Databases: SQL queries for data validation in testing Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban) QA integrated into sprints AI Generative: Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor for test case generation

* Desirable Knowledge:

* Experience with Playwright or Cypress as a frontend automation framework Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, k6, or similar)

* Familiarity with microservices architectures and contract testing (Pact)

* Experience testing applications with OAuth/OIDC authentication

* Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and accessibility testing

* Software quality certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar)

* Required Experience:

* Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in QA Engineering with a focus on automation

* Minimum 2 years using Selenium and/or Cucumber in production projects

* Experience testing REST APIs and highly complex web applications

* Experience working in agile teams with continuous delivery (CI/CD)

* Languages:

* Spanish: Native or professional level English: B2+ or higher (desirable) reading technical documentation, communicating with international teams
