Job Overview TEKsystems is seeking Telecommunications Technicians to support a largescale commercial data center project in Gallatin, TN. This is a handson, physical role suited for individuals with at least some commercial lowvoltage experience who are eager to work in a fastpaced construction environment. This opportunity offers long hours, consistent work, and strong potential for extension or conversion based on performance and project needs. Key Responsibilities * Install and support lowvoltage cabling systems in a large commercial data center * Pull and route cable and fiber throughout the facility * Assemble and install server cabinets and related infrastructure * Use basic telecom hand tools for installation and cable management * Work on ladders and lifts as required by the job * Follow safety procedures and construction site protocols * Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and productivity goals Required Skills & Qualifications * Knowledge and handson use of basic telecom hand tools * Strong work ethic and reliability * Comfortable performing physical work, including climbing ladders, lifting, and long periods on your feet * Ability to work extended hours and meet mandatory overtime requirements NicetoHave Skills * OSP (Outside Plant) experience * Prior data center construction experience * Experience with structured cabling or fiber installations Additional Qualifications * Punctual and dependable * Strong attention to detail * Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Work Environment * Largescale commercial data center construction site * Approximately 8 buildings totaling 1 million+ square feet each * Active construction environment requiring safety awareness at all times Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
